5.4 Downloading test results to a PC, handheld computer or
printer
Your Accu-Chek Compact Plus meter has an inbuilt infrared interface
permitting wireless data downloading to a suitably equipped PC, hand
-
held computer (PDA) or printer. All results in memory are downloaded
each time.
Roche Diagnostics offers a variety of special software products (e.g.
Accu-Chek Compass, Accu-Chek Pocket Compass, Accu-Chek Camit
Pro and the Accu-Chek Smart Printer System) that are designed to
extend the memory functions of your meter. These products enable you
and your doctor to manage your data more effectively and, through their
graph and table views, make it easier for you to understand your self-
testing data.
If you wish to analyse your results on a PC or handheld computer, you
will need a suitable software program. To download your results from
the meter to the PC you will also need the Accu-Chek Infrared Cable.
For further information please contact your local customer support and
service centre (see Chapter 16 “Local customer support and service”).
To analyse your results, you need to have set the year, time and
date (see Chapter 3 “Settings”).
Your results remain in the meter’s memory after down-loading.
The infrared window is located at the front end of the meter.
