Testing blood glucose

If you missed the code number in the display after



you inserted the test strip, remove it from the

meter and re-insert it.

If you want to apply blood to a test strip which is



not inserted into the meter: Do not remove the test

strip until the drop symbol ashes in the display. If

you remove the test strip before this time, the

meter turns itself off.

5.6 Evaluating results

If the displayed test result reects the way you

feel, continue as instructed by your doctor. If

the displayed test result does not reect the

way you feel, please perform a performance

check with an Accu-Chek Active control

solution (see Chapter 7). Repeat the blood

glucose test afterwards. If the latest test result

still does not reect the way you feel, please

contact your doctor.

Do not change your treatment based on just

one result.
