Inserting a lancet drum

To use the lancing device to obtain blood, you must

rst insert a lancet drum.

1 Take a new lancet drum.

You can tell that a lancet drum has been used because

it has a red line visible on the white portion. You cannot

insert a used lancet drum again.

2 Remove the cap from the lancing device.
