Performing a Blood Glucose Test

5. Enter the patients NHI Number using the

keypad and touch the key. Verify the

patient details.

6. Scan the strip lot.

The meter will

then perform the

code key checks

7. When prompted, remove a test strip

from the container and insert it into

the test strip port as far as it will go.

8. When flashing drop

appears, clean the

lancing site with a

damp cloth/paper,

alcohol gel or wipe.
