Meter reset
A meter reset can be performed to correct a number of
unspecied errors (e.g., “frozen” screen, etc.). Use the
fol lowing steps to perform a meter reset.
1 Place the meter face down on a level surface.
2 Press the reset button in the middle of the battery
pack using a tool such as a screwdriver or a paper
clip.
3 Turn over the meter.
n The Roche logo is displayed.
If the Roche logo does not appear within 60
seconds, place the meter on a base unit for a
minimum of 15 minutes to recharge the battery.
n Within a short period of time, the Versions screen
will appear, displaying the version numbers of the
meter components. (The Versions screen shown
here is for illustration purposes only. Version
numbers on your meter may differ.)
4 The screens for entering the date and the time
appear if date and time need to be set. After you
have entered the correct information, conrm each
screen with
.
Depending on the conguration of your system, the
meter may have to be docked in the base unit for
synchronization of the meter’s date/time with the date/
time of your facility.
n Finally, the Power Up screen and the Main Menu
are displayed as usual.
